This is a terrific dish for any time of day...breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is also one that I like to make for others in a time of need. They can freeze it, or put in fridge, and bake later. Otherwise, bake it and dig in. My hubby and kids like this one a lot too. Easily recognizable ingredients that they won't turn their noses up to.
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
2 cans cream of chicken soup (or 1 large can)
1 bag tater tots, still frozen
1 bag shredded cheddar cheese (or any mix you like)
Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with non-stick spray. Layer tater tots, beef, then spread the soup over the beef, and top with cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
**Other ingredients that are great to add: mushrooms, onions, cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken soup

ReplyDeleteThis right here sounds sooooo good! Oh my goodness! I am printing it as I speak and will be sure to make this! I was thinking of putting some mixed veges between the tots and meat or between the meat and cheese (a one pot meal). ummmm, I can't wait to try this. Thanks!!!
DeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I have added veggies to this dish before too. Great option. Enjoy!! Nichi
